The URL will lead you to the blog post that ChatGPT has wrote. The prompt given to ChatGPT was an outline of a past blog post I have made. AI has now rewritten that blog post into its words; I will examine how my blog differs from the AI-created post.

My Comparison

After reviewing the document myself, the AI-generated content felt more robotic and does not have an emotional aspect to the writing. When rereading my work, the content felt more personal, while the AI felt more “business” focused. When looking at the AI article, the wording and phrases are very consistent and generic, almost as if it was written for a research paper. Looking towards my writing, it almost felt more natural to read; this is heavily based on the idea that AI cannot replicate human emotions.

I will say that AI did do a good job at sticking to the core ideas of the blog and presenting the ideas well. It explained usability as ease of navigation and task completion and described accessibility as designing for users with disabilities, which matched the facts I included. It also expanded slightly on ideas like keyboard navigation, captions, and inclusive design, which made the content feel more complete without changing the meaning of what I wrote.

The AI felt conversational here and there, but ultimately the content felt more generic. The wording used in my blog post makes it feel more authentic since the way I try to explain topics resonates with the readers. The AI version, while clear, could apply to almost any blog about usability and accessibility, which makes it feel less unique.

While yes, AI did seem to polish the blog well by organizing the information and expanding on a few topics. The originality and emotional aspects were lacking. It didn’t capture my specific voice or some of the emphasis I placed on user flow and real-world frustration. Overall, the AI created a strong, informative blog, but mine feels more personal and reflective of my perspective.
